As Paxton Restoration began to mature, it faced a major challenge in securing a reliable cashflow stream to help with its expansion plans.

Direct Debit is a flexible, efficient and well-proven way to collect variable amounts from your customers. Did you know that 75% of British adults use Direct Debit to make payments of one kind or another?

The benefits

Here are some of the ways that using Direct Debit to collect amounts from your customers could benefit you:

Why use IGF?

It's quick
You could be taking payments in just two weeks, whereas setting up a new Direct Debit facility with your bank can take a minimum of six weeks.

It's simple
We provide a personal approach, hiding the complexities of the Direct Debit scheme.

It saves you money
You don't have to invest in software, personnel, training or support, because we've already done this for you.

We'll work with you
Perhaps your organisation is too young or small to register direct with Bacs or your bank has already declined you a Direct Debit facility. We register with Bacs, so you don't need 'sponsorship' from your bank.

How it works

Direct Debit Instructions
Your customers fill in and sign paper Direct Debit instruction forms (we'll design one for you) and you pass these on to us in our postage paid envelopes. We’ll then submit these electronically to their banks and keep a copy.

Collections
You let us know how much to collect in an email and we'll do the rest. We can write to your customers letting them know the dates and amounts of their next payment if required.

Transfer to you account
Once the money has cleared, we'll credit your account with a single payment and provide you with a detailed report so you know who has paid and, more importantly, who hasn't.

Eligibility

You don't need to apply for 'sponsorship' from your bank; we are registered as the originator.

To use our service you’ll likely have limited company status, but we'll try to work with all legitimate organisations. Size is not important as we're able to accommodate most businesses regardless of turnover.

Costs

Simple tariffs
We have a number of simple tariffs ranging from 30p to 75p per Direct Debit payment. This is less than many high-street banks would charge you for paying in your customers' cheques.

We will recommend the best tariff for you based on the number of payments you expect to take.

Other charges
Some additional charges may apply for optional extras such as writing to your customers, but we don't believe in hidden charges – so you'll be given a simple, clear schedule of fees before you sign anything.

Also...

The contract
Our contract doesn't have a minimum term; you can exit at any time by giving us 1 months notice. Early termination charges (typically only £150) may apply if you exit in the first year.

Security
To offer this service we provide a comprehensive indemnity to all banks that operate the scheme, to support the Direct Debit Guarantee. We therefore require that you also provide us with some security, as it will be your customers we are collecting from. This is likely to be in the form of personal guarantees from the directors, but depends on the strength of your company.

What happens now?

Why not switch to Direct Debit now? We've made it as simple as possible, and we'll walk you through every step.

Call us now on 08452 30 40 50 to find out how IGF can help you. We can give you a quote over the phone and, if you're happy with it, you could be up and running in as little as two weeks.
